Job Description:
A company is looking for a Media Relations Specialist to support
media relations efforts and enhance the organization's
reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate news stories with leaders and subject matter experts to
promote the organization
Pursue and promote healthcare awards and recognition
opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with journalists to enhance media
coverage
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public
relations, or a related field
Minimum five years of marketing or communications experience,
preferably in healthcare
Detailed knowledge of media relations principles and local media
outlets
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple
projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
and Outlook
