Location: Vienna, VA (REMOTE)
Duration: Inital 6 months plus extensions
Compensation: $60.00 - $73.00/hr
Work Requirements: USC, GC or Authorized to work in US

Lotus Notes Technical Consultant (Application Rationalization & Decoupling Oversight)
Our client is undergoing a major application rationalization effort involving over 200 legacy applications, including a core Lotus Notes application interconnected with 25 other systems. The goal is to migrate to a new platform and decouple the Lotus Notes app while minimizing disruption to business functions.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on Lotus Notes architecture and application interdependencies.
Provide strategic analysis and guidance for decoupling Lotus Notes from 25+ integrated systems.
Create a roadmap and playbook for application separation and migration.
Work with engineering and development teams to assess risk, map dependencies, and propose sequencing.
Offer technical oversight without hands-on development responsibilities.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and application owners to align decoupling with modernization efforts.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience with Lotus Notes/Domino environments, both from an engineering and architectural perspective.
Strong background in application rationalization, migration, or modernization projects.
Ability to analyze complex interdependencies between systems.
Experience communicating and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Prior hands-on engineering experience is a plus, though this is primarily an oversight/strategy role.
Lotus Notes has its own suite of applications. Must have experience with Migration of those Applications.
Lotus Notes Architect/Engineer profiles will be better suited for this position, rather than a Lotus Notes Administrator.
