Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key
Government customer. The Software Engineer will support the team in
the following activities (including but not limited to) in support
of the customer's Enterprise ServiceNow Platform:
Maintain customer's Enterprise
ServiceNow Platform infrastructureProvide day-to-day O&M
support to application developers and users of the ServiceNow
platformPerform regular ServiceNow security patching and release
upgradesMaintain and add new capabilities to the core ServiceNow
platform to enhance functionality for tenantsPerform scans/create
documentation in support of Accreditation and Authorization
(A&A) processDevelop, test and deploy updates to ServiceNow
based on customer requirementsCustomize and configure ServiceNow
applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and
modules; configure Application User Interface and configure
workflowCollaborate effectively with ServiceNow System Engineers
and developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and
configuration changes/requestsIdentify system deficiencies and
recommend solutionsMaintenance and continuous improvement of the
processes, standards, policies, working methods and toolsEnsure
appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a
development/production environment that is reliable and
reproducibleEnsure tool configuration consistency across
Development, Testing, Integration, and Production
environmentsParticipate in on-going production support and end user
supportDocument testing and maintenance of system
correctionsResearch, understand, and develop using new technologies
and standards as neededResearches, designs, develops, and/or
modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications
softwareInvolved in planning of system and development deployment
as well as responsible for meeting software compliance
standardsEvaluates interface between hardware and software,
operational requirements, and characteristics of overall systemABC
Required Education, Experience, &
Skills Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
A minimum of eighteen (18) years of
relevant experience; sixteen (16) years relevant experience with
Bachelor's or Master's degreesExperience with deploying, updating,
and managing AWS cloud infrastructure platforms such as EC2, ELB,
S3, EBS RDS and KMSAbility to write, update, and deploy
Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Cloudformation, CDK or
TerraformExperience with AWS Lambda or other equivalent serverless
technology for developing and managing scalable platformsStrong
understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including,
ServiceNow GenAIDatabase Administration (Oracle, MYSQL, MariaDB or
Postgres) experienceProficient in GIT for version control and
collaborative software developmentStrong understanding of CI/CD
methodologiesAbility to write scripts in JavaScript, Bash, and
Python for automation and software development tasksUnderstanding
of TCP/IP networking protocols and principlesAbility to efficiently
and appropriately estimate work effort requirementsAbility to
communicate effectively through written and verbal methodsAbility
to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to work
independently and in a team environmentAble to adapt to a
constantly changing environmentAptitude and willingness to work

$239140Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
