Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Legal Officer (In-State
Remote) in the Department of Legal Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
Provides legal advice and assistance based on research and analysis
of issues
Drafts and reviews various contractual documents and negotiates
contracts in compliance with regulations
Conducts contract training courses for faculty and researchers
regarding contract workflow and negotiations
Required Qualifications
Jurisprudence degree from an accredited law school
Eligible for admission to the State Bar of Texas within 12 months
of hire
A bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a
related field is preferred
One year of experience in contract negotiations, preferably with
research contracts
