Job Description:
A company is looking for a Postdoctoral Associate to join the
Coastal Hazards Lab in the Department of Geosciences.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on historic and prehistoric earthquakes and
tsunamis using field and laboratory methods
Develop independent research projects and assist in mentoring
graduate and undergraduate students
Participate in professional development and training opportunities
related to grant proposal and manuscript writing
Required Qualifications
PhD in a STEM field, conferred within the last 5 years
Experience in paleoseismic field and laboratory methods
Expertise in diatom paleoecology
Ability to work in person or remotely, with regular group
interactions
Criminal conviction check required
